Shatranj is the mediaeval form of chess that was introduced to Europe from the middle east. A slower form of the game, the bishop and queen have more restricted mvoes than in modern chess. But this gives each player time to fortify their position before battle begins in earnest.

The leaflet is designed to be printed on two sides of A4 paper which can then be folded into an A5 leaflet. These leaflets are copyright protected but may be freely printed and distributed unmodified.
